This was a very strong installment of How I Met Your Mother.
For starters, it featured an unexpected appearance by James Van Der Beek. It also gave us a little break from the Farhampton Inn, as Marshall and Marvin got on a bus and got back on the road, with the latter spending more of the half hour rhyming in order to keep his son calm.
Elsewhere, Robin took a bite of her wedding cake, while we learned more about Barney and his League of Players. He accepted another challenge on How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Episode 11.
